#571440 pbuilder: please add --save-after-build option

Please add an option which will not delete the build chroot after
--build. This would be handy in debugging "missing build-conflicts"
situations since it would help finding out which packages are
installed inside the pbuilder chroot.

Marc

Could you check whether the sample hook
 /usr/share/doc/pbuilder/examples/C10shell does what you want?

   Thanks

I would have imagined that it would be easier than having a separate
script file full with ugly redirects. --save-after-exec and
--save-after-login are there as well.

Greetings
Marc

Aesthetics aside, the functionality is there.

Hello Junichi,
this is just a ping about this bug with the additional intent to second Marc's
request. I might also add, that this idea was also seconded by jackyf on
#debian-mentors.

It would be really nice to not need the whole hookdir setup for a build
directory preservation of failure.

Kind regards,
