I met a problem that gnome 2.28 would not redraw text in menu untill i hover the mouse pointer over it, or i got i black squares sometimes in nautilus, i added the damage option in xorg.conf but nothing happend

Sorry i;ve never used before the GUI bug reporting tool, i've thinked that
it will gather information automaticaly, i use Graphics card: radeon 9550,
using the open source radeon driver 6.12.99 GIT, gnome 2.28.2

Please run 'reportbug --template xserver-xorg-video-radeon' and send its
output to this bug.  Although if you're building the driver from git
yourself, it might be better to file this upstream at
bugs.freedesktop.org.

Ok, i've attached the output, but i'm thinkg to reinstall the whole system
tonight and to see if the bug is going to reproduce or i've did something
wrong.

Oh, and another thing,  i have the same problem with xfce...

I managed to fix it, i've downgraded the radeon driver from 6.12.99git to
6.12.4-3 in unstable, now everything is fine! :)
And another thing i haven't compiled the radeon driver myself it was from a
package in a ubuntu PPA repository.
Sorry to bother you guys and thank you for your time. :)
