Hi.

Reading the manpage of sensible-browser, one gets a vague hint that there are environment variables involved like BROWSER.

OK... but how exactly.

And more precisely, what should a user do to change the configuration for the behaviour of these "magical" commands ? I say magical since "sensible decisions" doesn't make sense at all IMHO when there is a computer program at stake.

If I get it right, in the absence of any setting of BROWSER in the env, it then relies on alternatives for instance.

This should be documented IMHO so that one knows for instance how to switch from epiphany to iceweazel in Gnome environments on one host, by an update-alternatives on gnome-www-browser.

Also a verbose option in the script explaining its decisions would help.
