Steps to reproduce:
1. Start pidgin so that the buddy list is shown on current desktop.
2. Switch desktops and click the systray icon.
Result(in gnome):
A tab appears in the lower taskbar that must be clicked in order to acutally see the window.
Result(with fbpanel in openbox):
This is significantly worse since you do not even get the minimised icon in the task bar, that is clicking the system tray icon does nothing at all.
Expected Result:
The buddy list should appear focused on the current desktop. Another slightly less acceptable possibility would be to require two clicks of the system tray icon to actually focus the window like audacious2 for example.
