I typically start X up via startx.  A strange problem I have consistently is
that the slit does not swallow applications when fluxbox first starts up.
I always have to restart the window manager to get the slit to swallow the
application correctly.  So eventually it does work, it's just a minor
annoyance.

I don't have any debugging information. Any suggestions on how to go about
gathering some debugging information would be appreciated.
