I wish that nedit should get utf-8 support. That´s the thing.
I found a patch on http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=886204&group_id=11005&atid=311005
But i´m not a programmer...

I lack the skill and time to support such a patch, as I understand it is
far from finished. Unfortunately upstream does not seem to be interested
to implement UTF-8 because heavy rewriting is needed.
