Hi, how is the progress for this bug? cheers.
There is no too much time for me. If you want to a maintainer, just take it. You could merge this git to lxde (in debian co-maintain project) , and they would help you to do this. GIT Source : http://twemu.no-ip.org/git/deadbeef-debian.git
Ok, I'll change the owner of this bug as soon as possible. Thank you. I am member of the Debian Multimedia Team, so I think we'll be fine in maintaining this, but thanks for the hint. Cheers
owner 576975 ! thanks
Lol, sorry, I sent the email to the wrong bot... :( Cheers
Some plugins are not DFSG compliant, so I have to put this apart. The upstream author is going to move some of the plugins out of the deadbeef tarball, but I don't know how much this will take.
I moved all the packaging stuff to Git [0]. I am now waiting for someone of the Debian Multimedia Team to review it and upload Cheers [0] http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-multimedia/deadbeef.git;a=summary
Progress in this package?
DeaDBeeF can be found in debian-multimedia.org repository (Unstable/Sid and Testing/Wheezy sections).
Also upstream provides .deb: http://sourceforge.net/projects/deadbeef/files/debian/
Hello! Thanks for the heads up, but I haven't had time yet to do a proper review for deadbeef. Since it's a new package, I thoroughly have to go through all source code files for a proper review to make sure there are no issues with the copyright. Debian packages provided by upstream are not required since Mateusz has already done the packaging. Also, packages have to meet high quality standards to be accepted into Debian, and upstream packages usually do not meet these criteria. Cheers, Adrian
Hello, It is no possible yet?
