  For technical reasons, installing or removing packages while solving
dependencies will reset the resolver, returning to its first solution
and discarding the user's carefully chosen rejects and approvals.
aptitude offers the ability to do this from the command-line resolver
prompt as a convenience, but the on-line help ("?" at the prompt) should
warn them what the consequences are.
