    Would be really neat to have the same host completion as is
available for scp and rsync also working with sshfs.

There is completion for sshfs in zsh 4.3.17, although is appears to
explictly complete user@host, not just host.

See /usr/share/zsh/functions/Completion/Linux/_sshfs
