When I try to enable proxy from 'tools' menu (tools - html settings - enable proxy) it doesn't work. If I go back in the 'tools' menu, 'enable proxy' is still unchecked and the proxy is off. However, enabling proxy from 'settings' menu (settings - configure konqueror - web browsing - proxy) works as expected and I can use it. If I enable the proxy from 'configure konqueror' and then just opening 'tools' menu and move the mouse cursor on 'html settings' it disables proxy, with no click on any checkbox. Other options in 'html settings' seem to work. I don't know if the problem is due to an upgrade of konqueror or something in KDE. Tried to purge and reinstall the packege with no results (as expected).
SavedProxyType=0 Rename that file with another name solved my problem (didn't try to restart KDE yet). 'Enable proxy' from 'tools' seems to work again. I don't know what script or program writes that file there, maybe it's just an old file that maybe annoys 'a new version of something' ... Is anybody able to reproduce this thing? thanks :) ,
tag 597212 moreinfo thanks Hi! Can you still reproduce the bug with the new version available in Sid? Kinds regards, Lisandro.
