CUPS is configured to use the driver advertized as "Canon PIXMA iP3000
- CUPS+Gutenprint v5.2.6 (color, 2-sided printing)", and the printer
is a genuine iP3000.

When printing from evince I have a "Page setup" tab in the print
dialog, with among others a "Pages per side" parameter.  I cannot find
this parameter in the cups web-admin pages, nor in the OpenOffice
print options, which mostly reflect the CUPS ones.

When I change this setting in evince to print a single document, then
subsequent prints from OpenOffice are printed with the same setup
(which suggests this is a not an evince parameter, but one settable
through CUPS), although the OOo print preview shows full pages (which
suggests it really does not see that parameter).

No need to explain how it can be confusing to unsuspecting users of
the same machine, when one member of the family changes one setting
and another gets hit by the problem...

Please reassign to the proper package if you know better, that one was
my best guess.
