PyCAM generates toolpaths for 3-axis CNC machining.
3D STL files or 2D SVG/DXF files are processed into the common GCode that is
used by machine controller software (e.g. EMC2).

PyCAM is based on GTK and OpenGL.

I am the main developer of PyCAM and intend to maintain the debian package.
I will start to search for someone to sponsor the upload soon via the mentors
list.

Hi,

A long time ago, you expressed interest in packaging pycam. Unfortunately,
it seems that it did not happen. In Debian, we try not to keep ITP bugs open
for a too long time, as it might cause other prospective maintainers to
refrain from packaging the software.

This is an automatic email to change the status of pycam back from ITP
(Intent to Package) to RFP (Request for Package), because this bug hasn't seen
any activity during the last 14 months.
