When entering 'yes' while no question by bitlbee is queued (e.g. when replying to a couple of questions, e.g. when you have a lot of authorization requests), it replies with:
"Did I ask you something?"
This is very rude. Please chance it to something more friendly e.g. "No reply expected." or so.

Although I understand the complaint, it's all a matter of tone. But this
is text, so the tone is "interpolated" by the reader. Try to expect more
kindness from BitlBee and it'll look a lot nicer. ;-)

But more seriously: This line has been there since the first release,
and is a somewhat important part of BitlBee folklore. I'd feel sad to
drop it. Don't know how other people feel about it?

I like it, but I also use 'insults' in sudo(8).

Maybe an option $polite, which defaults to off?

Personally, I don't think changing the string makes much sense.

Introducing a special variable is overkill.

Long story short: I'd keep it the way it is.
