Hello! I use ibus (http://code.google.com/p/ibus/) to input Cyrillic characters. It works for most apps I use, i.e. all GTK2 apps, XTerm. It doesn't work in Wesnoth however. It would be great if Wesnoth supported ibus. My ibus version is 1.3.8-1. I'm ready to provide additional info, Andrey Paramonov
severity 610119 wishlist tags 610119 + moreinfo thanks Can you test if this works in any other SDL application? I have the feeling that this is not a wesnoth specific issue - more of a general SDL one. If you can confirm that this is also happening in other SDL applications then we can reassign this wishlist bugreport to there. Thanks, Rhonda
Hi! More information has been asked about the bug you reported a while ago. Would you like to answer, or report if the bug doesn't exist anymore? Thanks.
I am not sure if the bug is present in other SDL applications. I presume SDL is a programming framework which handles input and output; the problem is in input so the SDL is likely place to look at. Best wishes, Andrey Paramonov 2013/8/17 Solveig <debian@solveig.org>
