When choosing "subscribe to this package" through
http://packages.qa.debian.org/cgi-bin/pts.cgi for a mailinglist and
the mailinglist is subscriber-only the mailing list then bounces the
message including the given CONFIRM ID and therefore the mailinglist
is automatically subscribed to the package without any further
necessary actions.
Possible solutions (quoting from #debian-qa with permission):
12:50 < Myon> possibly don't bounce for Precedence: bulk stuff
12:51 < Myon> (and make sure the PTS sets something like that)
12:53 < Ganneff> and probably the pts can check for the same header as bounces from lists should have that too, right?

12:54 < mikap> List-Id is present as well AFAICS and might be used to check that
