When shuffle button in on:
* Audacious stops playing when the song ends (Single song playing mode is
disabled)
* Audacious ignores clicking on next song button (holding the button works as
expected)

No output in console.

Hi boskar,

I couldn't reproduce either of these behaviors with the current
Audacious version (2.5.1).  (I don't have a machine running 2.4.4 right
now.)

the very this bug was reproduced, Ubuntu20

button "Next" does not work, its pressing does nothing, restart did not help

created new playlist, added the same tracks and folders - new playlist in shuffle mode works fine, button "Next" works as usual. Do not know, why old playlist with the same tracks and folders was behaving like this.
Maybe, only maybe it is something like bug with "No playlist advance" options, 'cause the bug behaviour of playlist looks similar to situation, when all tracks ends, "No shuffle" mode, "No playlist advance" switched off and player stops to play: the last track in playlist plays, played, player stoped and then you can press "Next" button as much as you want and play will not be started until press button "Play" - the similar scenario.
"Shuffle" mode + "No playlist advance" mode in theory can not have such situation - when your playlist ends, but maybe sometimes happens some bug and playlist think - "it ended and we have no tracks for shuffling". And this playlist and its shuffle mode became "ended" nevertheless you press for its
