The xsetroot man page says,
-cursor_name cursorname
... Refer to appendix B of the X pro-
tocol for the names (except that the XC_ prefix is elided for
this option).
But if I'm not mistaken the names are not in the X protocol manual
appendix B but instead the Xlib programmer's manual appendix B.
All this stuff is confusing enough to want good cross references. For
debian the actual xlib manual file could be shown, to know exactly where
to look
file:///usr/share/doc/libx11-dev/libX11.html#x_font_cursors
/usr/share/doc/libx11-dev/libX11.txt.gz
Hi, please don't use maintonly. Kevin Ryde <user42@zip.com.au> (07/06/2011): appropriate solution, and we're in touch with them to make that work. See for example: http://lists.x.org/archives/xorg-devel/2011-June/022919.html Mraw, KiBi.
Cyril Brulebois <kibi@debian.org> writes: Ah that'll be reportbug's idea of "minor". I thought after that it may be easier to just list the cursor names in the xsetroot page, since a user stands a good chance of not having the library programming docs. The list isn't terribly long.
