Hello

If I want to use 3d acceleration and install linux-firmware-nonfree, after a
reboot, there appear vertical lines on the desktop.
I'm using gnome Desktop environment. In some application it's worse than in
others.
Also, some lines seem to disappear when i move my mouse over them.

Please see also this picture:

Thanks!
Josef

Hi Josef,

Josef Vogt <josef@li-life.li> (16/07/2011):

I don't think I ever saw those issues with my own X1600. Could you try
with another kernel, for example 3.0.0~rc6-1~experimental.1 from
experimental? If that doesn't help, I can help you check a newer version
of the driver (git snapshot).

KiBi.
