Freeswan is not even in debian (and outdated anyway)... please add support for strongswan (and perhaps openswan).

Its ipsec command offer much more options.
Would be nice to have completion for the route's, too, e.g.:
ipsec up/down <complete name of the routes as specified in /etc/ipsec.conf>
