* Christoph Egger: Thank you for reporting this. Though I believe this is easy to fix, febootstrap 3 wouldn't be very useful on non-Linux based systems. Both the dependency resolver and the initial /init for the appliance are quite Linux-specific. As of 0.3.7-2, I have disabled building the package on kfreebsd and hurd. Cheers, -Hilko

It provides a minimal boot environment for booting an installed kernel image in a VM. Should somebody want to work on patches that enable febootstrap (and ultimately libguestfs) on FreeBSD, I'd be happy to integrate them. Cheers, -Hilko
