Hi, a bug marked to affect the 'other-binary' binary package built from 'other' source is only listed on the 'other-binary' bug page, but not on 'src:other'. So looking at 'all bugs in the other package' misses this important piece of information. Andreas
Andreas Beckmann, I second that. Here are some current examples: 1) bug #678289: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=678289 shown at the affected binary package bug list: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi- bin/pkgreport.cgi?package=pcmanfm but not at the source one: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi- bin/pkgreport.cgi?src=pcmanfm 2) bug #686843: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=686843 shown here: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?package=wine but not there: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?src=wine
Control: tags -1 patch I have attached a patch which hopefully fixes this. I have only tested it by extracting the new function to a separate perl script; it may or may not function incorrectly as-is, so beware! Regards, James
It's really great to see a patch here. This gap in the BTS bothers me, and it would be great if someone with more knowledge and skill than i have in it could review this patch and see whether it works. (and if it works, please apply it!) thanks for maintaining the BTS,
Quack, I stumbled on this bug for #1142693 affecting greetd and that was quite disconcerting. It's sad to see there was a patch but that was never applied. Could someone have a look at this please? Regards. \_o<
