After removing the ".libreoffice" directory and launching "libreoffice",
a window appears at the top-left, but is partly off-screen.

Fvwm[*] window information says: X = -4 and Y = -12.
Both values should have been >= 0.

The same problem has just occurred, but I didn't remove the
".libreoffice" directory. The window appeared full-screen,
and a part of it was offscreen. In particular, the title bar
wasn't visible at all.

This occurred on my laptop. The last time I used LibreOffice
on it was with an external, bigger screen. The problem could
be related to:

(this bug is currently tagged as fixed-upstream, but I can see
no sign of being fixed on the upstream bug report).

It seems that LibreOffice remembers the window size & position.
Of course, if LibreOffice does the same thing when the screen
has changed, this behavior is buggy!

I can't try on the original machine, which had a smaller screen.
On my desktop machine, after removing the .config/libreoffice file,
this is OK. But if I quit and restart libreoffice several times,
the window position changes and the window ends up appearing partly
off-screen.

xwininfo information each time after I start libreoffice:

I ran libreoffice with "libreoffice Downloads/n3148.doc", and most
of the document appeared off-screen. I think that the center of the
document window was positioned at the top-left corner of the screen.
Weird.

Just in case: The monitor for this desktop machine has never changed.
