Hello,

the folders /usr/share/games/blobAndConquer/sound/ and /usr/share/games/blobAndConquer/music/
are emtpy, but as /usr/share/games/blobAndConquer/data/combatResources/sounds and every
mission file suggests, there should be sound and music files. Please include them :)

Unfortunately I can't find the source package on the upstream website to check for the
files there.

Thanks
Erik

The original source from Parallel Realities contains sound and music that is,
according to Debian's standards, not distributable, so they have been removed
from the Debian package. At some point in the future replacement sounds and
music will be added. See also the TODO list at:

2011/10/14 Guus Sliepen <guus@debian.org>:

Can't you use the sample files from blobwars? Looking at the page
about missing free samples[1] and the file list of the blobwars-data
package[2] the file names are quite similar, so they should contain
similar sounds.

Probably, although there are differences. If you would like to try to create a
free sample set for blobandconquer, that would be greatly appreciated :)
Personally, I do not have too much time for this, and I am first trying to get
starfighter released with free samples and sound, which has the same problem as
the other Parallel Realities games.
