User accepts an event invitation

The SMTP server is temporarily down

Icedove displays a popup to inform the user that the confirmation could
not be sent to the meeting organiser

However, the event is stored in the calendar successfully.

Icedove no longer offers an option to accept the event, consequently,
there is no option to retry sending the confirmation.

Possible fixes:

- add a `Retry' button to the error popup, and if the user chooses to
cancel, the invite should not be sent to the calendar - it should remain
as a pending invitation and the user must try and accept it again

- the confirmation message should be created in the Outbox and Icedove
should keep trying to send the confirmation message until it
successfully contacts an SMTP server

This looks like an upstream issue. We appreciate any help in forwarding
these kind of issues to bugzilla.mozilla.org. You can also recheck with
8.0~rc4-2.

We far away from squeeze and probably this issue is gone?
