Hi all,

it seems that with some upgrade (probably to the 0.9 series) NM now
automatically connects to available unprotected networks. AFAIR this
was *not* automatically in former times, one had to select the network
to connect to.

I would like to have a way to get back to this behaviour, as most of
the time I have apparently open networks around, but they are pay by
usage and I don't even want to connect to these networks.

NM only auto connects to WLANs it has been connected to in the past.
You probably have an existing connection which matches the open network.

"Auto *" networks that would be used. THe "Network Settings" provides
an Option menu under "Wireless", but that only allows to change the
current setting?
