   * What led up to the situation?
   I installed mixxx and jack on debian squeezy, but jack was not found in mixxx.
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
   I tried different versions of mixxx, since jack was found by other apps, then I found this site:
http://forkbomb.dadacafe.org/blog/Squeeze_Mixxx_Jack_Portaudio_AMD64/ and tried this solution
   * What was the outcome of this action?
   I dindt get mixxx to find jack
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
   That I would be able to use jack in mixxx
