I do not know which package to report this because this happens with
both kdm and gdm, i'm guessing xdm is a core default so i'm reporting
it here

Apparently when i logout, the X listener changes tty#..

it hops from tty7->tty8, then alternates between tty8/tty9..

i would login for at least 10 seconds before trying to logout and
seeing again if the X listener changed..
