According to upstream "The catalog file is where translated text is
stored.  BOINC-Manager.mo and BOINC-Client.mo." so this is another
issue.

These should be in the system somewhere right ?

have many thanks. If this is truly important for you, then please send a patch.
I cannot be bothered with anything that is not a severe dysfunctionality these days - and then I would send it upstream.
