Dear Maintainer,

This is about a Dell Latitude E6420 laptop.

When I wake the laptop up from suspend-to-ram or hibernation while it is on battery power, battery charge is always reported to be critically low and the system is shutdown.

Looking at the gnome status menu, I often see that two or more batteries are being reported. I have seen up to four of which two were reported full and two empty. So something is clearly being misread or misinterpreted here.

My wild guess is that upower is to blame for this, please reassign as appropriate.

I have this bug on my Lenovo t420s.

I can confirm that its due to upower.
$ sudo killall upowerd
$ sudo /usr/lib/upower/upowerd &
resolves the problem.

Thanks,
Andreas
