Being a fork of peg-markdown (https://github.com/jgm/peg-markdown) it could be considered as a replacement for John Gruber's original Markdown (http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/markdown), which employs an extented set of features including footnotes, etc. (http://en.wikipedia.org /wiki/MultiMarkdown). Control: retitle -1 ITP: multimarkdown -- converter for Multimarkdown markup documents Control: owner -1 Guillem Jover <guillem@debian.org> I want this, so I've started packaging it, but I don't really have a particular interest in maintaining it. Ricardo Mones also showed some interest but probably in the same way as me, so we might possibly end up co-maintaning it. But if there is someone else that wants to take it over, please say so. A very rough draft of the packaging can be found here: <http://git.hadrons.org/cgit/wip/debian/pkgs/multimarkdown.git/> There's also a problem with file a conflict with the other multimarkdown implementation in the archive that needs to be resolved before uploading this. Thanks, Guillem
