When I click on the X in the window title bar, I expect it to close the
application, not minimize it! This is broken behavior please fix it (and
other apps doing it too is no excuse).

I believe you have not noticed the "Minimize to system tray on close"
button in Preferences so have not disable the behavior you don't want.
Please respond if changing that fixes your problem. Thank you.
