Hi!

By doing a simple "pm-suspend" (without changing anything) my machine
just hangs with the fan running, the screen black (but lit) and
everything else frozen. Have to keep the power button pressed to turn
the machine off.

Attached are the dmseg, lspci, xorg and pm-suspend log.
pm-suspend log has PM_DEBUG=true exported.

Can I provide more info or test anything else, please?

Thank you!

Best regards,
Nelson

Hello,

I think i was experiencing the same bug on current {kernel,pm-utils}
versions. The following solution from Arch worked for me :

« Have a look at /var/log/pm-suspend.log and search for "ehci" or
"xhci". Some of the names you could find may be "ehci_hd", "xhci_hd" or
"ehci_hcd".
Then as root create the file /etc/pm/config.d/modules and include this
code with the exact name of the ehci or xhci module you found. For example:

SUSPEND_MODULES="ehci_hcd"
