So on the gnu.org website, the tarball of gcide has a version bump.

The last time I checked, before I moved maintenance to alioth, there was
no effective upstream and nobody was maintaining it.

I haven't looked into the new archive thoroughly, but a quick check
showed the license update, the switch to GPLv3.

I did try to reach again to the email mentioned in the README,
gcide@gnu.org, but no response.

So, as for Debian Wheezy release, we will continue with the 0.48 release,
which is not GPLv3.

Meanwhile, I hope to do a thorough check and expect that this is not
just a license update. I really would like to see an effective active
upstream for this project.

Adding CC to bug report so that other may be informed of the current
state.

I've included that patch too. It is now in in the git repository. There
are some more lintian warnings, that I'd like to fix before doing an
upload. So hopefully, in 2 weeks, I'll do the upload.

Meanwhile, if there is any other patch you have, or any feature
request, please do file a bug report.

My long term goal is to explore the format for the new dict-gcide
archive, that the (new) upstream is using and effectively fix bug
#673024.

But that is in the coming months, hopefully.
