The MetaphonePtBR aims to help string comparison using phonetic rules of
brazilian portuguese, reducing a word to a phonetic key and being easier to
search for names and adresses.
To do that, it was build in 3 different packages, integrating with
postgresql and php.

It builds those binary packages:
 metaphoneptbr-utils - This is the metaphone for brazilian portuguese
 metaphoneptbr4pgsql - This is a metaphone-pt_Br module for PostgreSQL
database
 php5-metaphoneptbr - This is the brazilian metaphone module for PHP 5.x

Hi,

A long time ago, you expressed interest in packaging metaphoneptbr. Unfortunately,
it seems that it did not happen. In Debian, we try not to keep ITP bugs open
for a too long time, as it might cause other prospective maintainers to
refrain from packaging the software.

This is an automatic email to change the status of metaphoneptbr back from ITP
