This is a words-based version of the 'Cows and bulls' guessing game. The user
has to guess the word chosen by the game by guessing words of the same
length. The game will reply to each guess by informing the user about the
number of cows (alphabets in the word chosen by the game that are in the word
guessed by the user in the exact same position) and bulls (alphabets in the
word chosen by the game that are in the word guessed by the user in a wrong
position). The user has to guess the correct word by improving the guesses
based on the game's feedback and eventually guess the word chosen by the game.

Thank you for finding out the typo. I intended to use 'letters' but
ended up using alphabets. I will use the correct word in the package
description and manpage for sure :)

Perhaps not under that name, but this is more widely known these days by
the name of its 1970 commercial version, "Mastermind".

Hi Thomas,

From what I could find on the internet, games that are "Mastermind"
clones seem to be based on colors or numbers.

I checked all these packages and none of them has a word-based version
of "Mastermind"/"Cows and bulls".

The game is implemented in a single .cpp file and I was already told
that this could be a vanity package, not sure if it really is. Either
way, let me package it and upload it to the mentors site.

A long time ago, you expressed interest in packaging cows-and-bulls. Unfortunately,
it seems that it did not happen. In Debian, we try not to keep ITP bugs open
for a too long time, as it might cause other prospective maintainers to
refrain from packaging the software.
