Steps to reproduce:

I have attempted to login to http://launchapd.net and http://www.bmo.com, following the links to the appropriate https login page.




Actual results:

Launchpad refuses login with correct credential complaining that I came from a stale page.
BMO (bank) complains that I am trying to login from a bookmark.

In both cases the Midori browser works.



Expected results:

I should have been able to log in to the sites.

Not sure this is an upstream bug really though, as there were no similar reports upstream.

src:iceweasel has been superseded by src:firefox-esr in version
45.0esr-1 in March 2016. Transitional packages to ease upgrades were
provided in the wheezy, jessie, stretch and buster releases. The
transitional packages have been removed finally before the bullseye
release in August 2021.
After regular security support for buster ended in August 2022 and LTS
support ended in June 2024, I'm closing the remaining bug reports now.
