Hello, I installed Wheezy to SheevaPlug with 20120828 uImage and
uInitrd to SD card. Everything goes fine, but it doesn't give me
login prompt after reboot.

I examine the /etc/inittab, and there is no entry enabled for ttyS0.
This is crucial for SheevaPlug. Since I didn't have this
issue for Squeeze, this is a regression.

reassign 686991 sysvinit
thanks

Quoting Niibe Yutaka (gniibe@fsij.org):

Thanks for your report.

From what I see, creating /etc/inittab is done by the sysvinit
package, by copying /usr/share/sysvinit/inittab in its postinst
script.

Hence reassigning.

I'd like to upgrade my SheevaPlug to Wheezy, but I found this bug report.
What is the current situation?

Thank you!

No-one with a SheevaPlug have provided a working patch to solve the
issue. I do not have one, and have no idea what is wrong.
