testing the gdm-shell by setting

        [org.gnome.desktop.session]
        session-name='gdm-shell

in `/etc/gdm3/greeter.gsettings` when selecting a user by clicking on
the user name, it takes around two seconds until the animation for
transitioning to the password dialog completes. The first time it looks
good but after that it decreases the productivity and users complain.

This is reported as bug 683970 in the GNOME Bugzilla bug tracking system
[1].

Although I consider this a high usability problem, I set the severity to
minor because using the gdm-shell is currently not enabled by default in
Debian.
