The online status is not set at boot while the settings in Empathy are
configured to do so. The default status of Empathy and in the upper right
corner of the Gnome shell are set to 'online'. But a manual operation is
required to set Empathy to online either in the Gnome Shell (upper right
corner) or by starting up Empathy. When Empathy is configured to start up when
the session is loaded then the online status is passed trough. But not when
Empathy is not, in the past this worked fine. But not since (about) 2/3 months.

Hi,

I also have the same problem. I think this is related to
mission-control and not empathy.

I'm only seeing this with MSN (telepathy-haze).

Cheers
