Package: qa.debian.org Severity: normal Hi, looking at http://packages.qa.debian.org/m/mysql-5.1.html we can see that the source package has been removed from unstable and testing, but is still present in stable and stable-security. However, uploads are not listed in the "news" part. It'd be nice to continue providing new information until the package is completely removed from Debian. Regards,
Hi,
IIRC it does but the upload information in the news section comes
for debian{,-devel}-changes@lists.debian.org and the mails are sent
to debian-changes only when a stable point release happens IIRC.
Is there any other list that gets upload information in real time?
Cheers,
Hmh, I'm not sure dak sends mail to a public list for that. FTPmasters, any idea? Regards,
dak sends mail to the PTS when packages are accepted into proposed-updates. However this has not happened for mysql-5.1 which is still waiting in p-u-NEW[1] (missing the ia64 build). Those are also displayed as expected, see for example [2] or [3]. I understand. It's a bit weird that it then gives a view a bit inconsistent, since in MySQL case it knows the version in stable-sec (not sure how). Regards,
I assume the PTS uses the Sources indices for that. The security archive itself should not send public announces. Ansgar
