The ptex CTAN package is now included in package texlive-lang-cjk.
Besides, the package ptex-bin is now a dummy package that depends on
texlive-lang-cjk. Thus, I'm wondering whether package ptex-base still
provides useful functionalities, or whether it should be removed.

unstable we hereby close the associated bug reports.  We are sorry
