Since this package isn't maintained anymore and
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=646863 reports that it
generates errors, could debian avoid installing this package by default?
Actually, I wonder why this package has even been installed by default
on my system as it has Priority: extra and none of the reverse
dependencies are installed.

I am willing to maintain this package. I am not a Debian Developer,
but I aspire to become one and mpt-status is a tool I use on our
company servers, so it is familiar.
