Subject: iceweasel: When connecting to www.netbank.com.au it puts up the login page for one

Justification: renders package unusable

When connect to www.netbank.com.au the login page appears for 1 sec then is
replaced by blank page.
Same with epiphany and iceweasel with Debian 6 on another m/c.
 Firefox and Win XP OK.
Suspect java problem. It occured after netbank maintenance weekend.
No responce from bank except they do not support iceweasel.
I have yo use windows to do banking

Problems with one particular site don't grant such severity.

Please upgrade to at the very least the version in squeeze-backports.

Hello I have recently installed Firefox and it does not have the same
bug as Iceweasel.
That is when I connect to netbank.com.au the id & password panel remains
on screen.

src:iceweasel has been superseded by src:firefox-esr in version
45.0esr-1 in March 2016. Transitional packages to ease upgrades were
provided in the wheezy, jessie, stretch and buster releases. The
transitional packages have been removed finally before the bullseye
release in August 2021.
After regular security support for buster ended in August 2022 and LTS
support ended in June 2024, I'm closing the remaining bug reports now.
