After booting this computer the Xfce4-panel clock will show the current
date if i hover over the applet's window. After using this computer a
while this is no longer true. I do not know yet to specify this "while"
more precisely. May be it is related to suspend-to-disk. Right-click >
Properties still shows the correct current date though.

Dear Maintainer,

Bug may be the same as #81798, Clock turns blank after changing format
settings.

Hovering over the clock area shows nothing on any display setting below.

Changing properties to:
- - digital blanks the clock panel area.
- - LCD   works fine to display time
- - analog  works fine to display time
- - fuzzy   works fine to display time
- - binary  works fine to display time

Tooltip format reverts to Custom Format and blank field after any other choice
is entered.
