disktype outputs an unreadable Volume name for an UDF disk I have. While
KDE manages to designate the disk as "Civilization V", disktype outputs:

One can see there are 12 blocks of characters, and some of these repeat
- <6900> is repeated 3 times and clearly corresponds to the "i". This is
definitely an encoding problem.
I haven't tested with other UDF discs.

Hi Filipus,

I am the new disktype maintainer.

Can you check if the file udf.c[1], dated 2009-04-05, solves the
problem? If yes, I will add a patch to disktype.

First of all, I'm sorry for the delay. I marked the email as important
while I had a huge amount of pending work and I have started to review it
just now.

Anyway, I don't have access to a Debian develop-enabled computer to review
the solution, and it will remain so for the next 7-10 days, so I think the
