This package has a file called /usr/share/doc/httpie/README.rst.gz . Actually it is plain text written in syntax of reStructuredText: http://docutils.sourceforge.net/ http://docutils.sourceforge.net/rst.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ReStructuredText It is quite human readable, because it is so called lightweight markup language: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lightweight_markup_language But it is really meant to be converted to other formats, especially HTML and PDF (via LaTeX). Here is my very huge example of converting reStructuredText to umpteen gazillion formats: http://iki.fi/juhtolv/tolleharj/
❦ 10 février 2013 00:48 +0200, Juhapekka Tolvanen <juhtolv@iki.fi> : I fail to see how this could be severity important. Personnaly, I don't see the gain of having it converted to HTML and PDF. It would make the package more complex than it needs to be, but of course, only my opinion. Downgrading severity to wishlist.
