Hi,

apt-pkg has a class EDSP (static methods only) interface for
implementing an "external APT solver".  I would appreciate it, if
python-apt made this interface available via python.

Thanks for your bugreport.

That sounds like a good idea, I started a lp:~mvo/python-apt/edsp
branch with some basic code (not complete yet though).
