Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?
I want to be able to completely customise iftop with .iftoprc.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
Checked the man page for all available .iftoprc options.

   * What was the outcome of this action?
Did not find an option for bar graph average.

Thanks,
Jayen

Hello,

I'm currently in the process of adopting iftop for Debian. The B option
is already mentioned in the man page but corresponds to "use-bytes" in
iftoprc.

It's true that you can cycle through the bar graph average within iftop
but there is no option so far to choose a fixed value on startup in your
iftoprc file.

That means this is a feature request and needs to be implemented by
someone. Hence I'm lowering the severity to wishlist and I will forward
this bug report to the upstream developers of iftop.

Regards,

Markus
