Dear Maintainer,

* What led up to the situation?
Use of Qt Designer

* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
Move the QtDesigner to the secondary screen and open a menu

* What was the outcome of this action?
The menu content is opened just below (and touching) the menu nane

* What outcome did you expect instead?
The menu content opened **far away** below the menu name

Screenshot is attached.

That happend only on the secondary screen (left) not in the primary
one (right)

Thanks!

xiscu

Hi! I have tried this and looked at your screenshot, but I can't currently
reproduce it with current version of Qt in sid (which is also in testing).

The problem might also be in another place. Are you using KDE? for what I can
see in the screenshot, you seem not. have you tried using another windo
decoration?

Kinds regards, Lisandro.

Hi Lisandro,
I'm using Weezy, not using KDE but Gnome 3.4.2. I've changed the Theme
(from the KDE configurations menu and Gnome) and it's the same.

The displays are (the bottom side are aligned):
- Left: 1680 x 1050
- Right: 1366 x 768

It's seems like the menu top margin (left monitor) gets aligned with
the right monitor top margin.

Regards,

xiscu

reassign 708925 src:qt4-x11
thanks

Well, this dosn't seems to be a Qt creator's issue but either a Qt or your
current Gnome's windows manager.

I'm reassigning this to qt4-x11, but let's do some more tests.

What happens with other pure-Qt apps like clementine for example?

Kinds regards, Lisandro.
