Hi!
Any progress in packaging asynk?
Thanks
Christoph
As the maintainer of the bbdb package, I'd like to see AsynK packaged. We should probably coordinate to ensure interoperability with not only the current bbdb 2.x package but also the upcoming bbdb 3.x, see github.com/barak/bbdb3 Cheers,
Hi! Are you still working there? Would be happy to be able to apt-get install asynk without maintaining it myself ;-) Christoph
I no longer use asynk anymore.
As known from his mail of 22 Jul 2014, the submitter of ITP has no longer an intention to package the program. So somebody should change ITP to RTP... Best regards Janusz

Upstream seems to be no longer working on this software and the documentation says it depends on Python 2.X (with X>=7). As Debian only contains python 3.x now, I am afraid this software is not suitable for Debian anymore, thus closing this bug. Thorsten
